Differant specs or 'hybrid' specs are what make the characters in WoW unique from each other, though for the most part once a good spec is put online a high majority of people use it.  For the sake of the chatroom we will only have the three main specs and give a small listing of the talents etc, for further research just click the icons and you'll arrive at your class choice's information page.  Thank you and happy creating :)

Warlock

The three specs for warlocks are demonolgy, affliction, and destruction.  Warlocks like mages are meant to be full damage characters.  Demonolgy spec consentrates more on the warlocks pet then anything else, letting the minion do the dirty work so to speak, though not without help from its master, destruction is a full out damage spec consentrating on burst damage while affliction a damage spec as well consentrates on damage over time.  More information on warlock spells and specs are available through the interactive warlock icon below.

Mage

The three mage specs are arcane, frost, and fire.  Mages are damage dealers so the three specs are all damage specs though in differant fields of magic and with differant damage output through each one.  Frost is more of a survivablity spec while fire concentrates on damage. More information on mage specs and spells are available through the interactive mage icon below.

Paladin

The three main paladin specs are Holy, protection, and retribution.  Holy spec is for healing of course, yourself and other players, the paladin is built without any spec to have a high survivability.  Protection spec is more of a tanking build and extends the paladin (pally) survivability even more.  Retribution spec is a full damage spec able to put out high amounts of damage while crowd controlling your opponent.  For more information on paladin specs and spells see the interactive paladin icon below.
